Mike earned his B.Sc. Physiotherapy Degree at Trinity College Dublin in 2017, where he later completed his M.Sc. in Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2020 under the prestigious Foundation Scholarship. 

Mike is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA. He is passionate about implementing the principles of strength and conditioning with all of his rehabilitation programmes to ensure that his patient's are completely ready to return to their sport and activities. 

Mike is also a TPI certified Medical and Fitness professional. As well as holding a TPI Power certification. Mike has worked extensively with golfers over the past five years and offers a comprehensive assessment for golfers to identify any body limitations which may be affecting their swing. He can then work with golfers to develop golf warm up routines, golf focused gym sessions and speed programs.

Risteard is a clinical specialist physiotherapist who brings a wealth of specialised knowledge and experience to the RAPID team. With an impressive tenure at the UPMC Sports Surgery Clinic spanning nine years and over 10,000 clients, he progressed through the ranks to become a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist and lead their shoulder rehabilitation service. 

Risteard has worked closely with Ireland’s leading Orthopaedic, Radiology and Sports Medicine Consultants and has a proven track record of managing injuries across general and sporting populations. His special interest lies in shoulder and upper limb rehabilitation; however, he is highly experienced in treating all types of injuries.

Risteard has broad experience working with athletes at elite and sub-elite levels across various sports. He was the Lead Physiotherapist for Dublin Senior Hurling for the 2022/23 season and the Cavan Senior Footballers for three seasons, including 2020, when they became Ulster Senior Champions. He has also been the Physiotherapist for Terenure College Junior and Senior Cup Rugby Squads over the last seven years. Risteard has been the Lead Physiotherapist with RTE’s Ireland’s Fittest Family over the last seven seasons.

Alex Hassett B.Sc. CSCS MISCP

Alex studied Physiotherapy in University College Dublin before beginning his career in the Sports Surgery Clinic in Santry where he gained experience in treating orthopaedic and sports injuries. He has since worked in private practice and the HSE giving him a broad range of experience in treating both acute and persistent musculoskeletal conditions.

Alex regularly attends continuous professional development events, both in Ireland and overseas. He has a special interest in the management of running-related lower limb injuries, hamstring injuries, knee injuries, and shoulder injuries, as well as lifelong strength training.

He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NCSA and has obtained a Bioforce Conditioning Certification. He has completed extensive training in speed mechanics including a 12-week mentorship with Alan Murdoch of Speedworks in the UK.

Having worked with a wide range of clients, he enjoys using injury rehabilitation to improve functional ability and athleticism, while returning clients to their valued activities.

Aisling Keller completed her B.Sc. in Physiotherapy at Trinity College Dublin in 2023, where she was awarded the prestigious academic scholarship “Schols.” She went on to complete a Master’s in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Trinity College Dublin in 2025.

Currently, Aisling is Lead Physiotherapist for UCD AFC men’s first team in the League of Ireland, where she manages injuries from their onset on the pitch through to full return, ensuring players come back performing at an even higher level. She also works as the Competition Physiotherapist for the Norwegian Sailing Team in the ILCA class, a role that combines her background as an international sailor with her clinical expertise.

As an athlete, Aisling qualified Ireland for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics in the ILCA 6, won silver at the 2017 U21 European Championships, and achieved multiple top-10 finishes at World and European events. She now enjoys staying active through running, strength training, surfing, hiking and swimming.

Shane earned his B.Sc. in Physiotherapy with first class honours from Ulster University in 2023. Prior to joining RAPID, he has gained valuable experience across both elite sports medicine and private practice settings. During his time at the Sports Surgery Clinic in Santry, he worked alongside leading orthopedic consultants, sports medicine physicians, clinical specialist physiotherapists, and strength and conditioning coaches. This multidisciplinary environment provided him with a strong foundation in the assessment and rehabilitation of a wide range of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.

Through thorough assessment, clinical reasoning, and ongoing communication, Shane likes to tailor interventions to each person's unique presentation and lifestyle. By combining scientific evidence with a holistic understanding of the patient, Shane aims to deliver more effective, meaningful care that empowers individuals to take an active role in their health and rehabilitation. He is committed to continuous learning and delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
