Prior to appointment?
Before attending your appointment, we will complete a COVID-19 screening questionnaire, this will be done over the phone prior to entering the clinic. Please let us know when you have arrived outside by text or email and we will call you to complete the questionnaire.
Do not attend your appointment if any of the following apply

Have been in close contact with any confirmed case(s) of COVID-19.

Currently have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, cold, flu-like symptoms, loss or change to your sense of smell or taste?
- Travelled outside of Ireland in the last 14 days.
If you have any of the above signs or symptoms, we would advise that you get a COVID-19 test and wait for the results before rebooking an appointment.
What other safety measures are in place in your clinic?
As well as our pre-appointment questionnaire we also have the following safety measures in place
- Temperature check upon arrival for all staff and patients
- 5m distancing in large physio office during consultation
- Minimal hands on assessment
- All rehab in 5000 sq. foot open plan gym
PPE
What happens when I arrive at the clinic?
When you arrive in the clinic please let us know you have arrived by email or text. You will be greeted by your practitioner, who will ask you the COVID-19 screening questionnaire. Your practitioner will then check your temperature before showing you into the clinic.
Do I have to wear PPE?
We will ask all patients to wear a mask when attending. Hand sanitiser and masks will be freely available for use if required.
Will the practitioner be wearing PPE?
The practitioner will be wearing PPE when in contact with the patient. Currently we are abiding by Health service guidelines, which may change at certain times. Prior to your session, all surfaces will be wiped that you may come in contact with, in line with our infection policy. Patient safety is a huge priority for the business at all times, and therefore, strict abiding to all health guidelines will be enforced at all times.
Appointments
How soon can I get an appointment?
There is currently good availability in the clinic as it has just opened and most sports are on hold currently. Please check for availability on our online booking service for next day appointments or email us at [email protected] if you want to check for same day availability.
Do I need a referral from a GP or other medical practitioner?
No referral is required, however, often patients may have seen a GP or Doctor who recommended physiotherapy assessment. If that GP or Doctor have given you a referral or summary letter please bring it along. Similarly if you have had any MRI's or X-Ray's related to this case please bring along the report for those also.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Firstly please bring a mask in accordance with current safety regulations. Please wear comfortable clothing which will allow you to exercise and move around if needed. Please bring your phone and ensure that it is charged and has available memory in case we need to record any videos of your rehabilitation exercises. Lastly please bring along a bottle of water as you may be required to do some exercise as part of your assessment or treatment.
Online Booking
How Do I Book Online?
To book your appointment, click on the Book Now button on the website and follow booking instructions. You must create a quick profile so that we have your details here in the clinic. You can search for a day and a time which suits you best and choose which service suits you best also. Once you confirm the booking you will receive a booking confirmation email.
How Do I Know My Appointment Booked Online Is Confirmed?
You will receive an email booking confirmation with details of the date, time and practitioner on it. If you have not received this email, search the junk mail box of your email.
What Are The Terms & Conditions For Booking Online?
We ask all patients to give a minimum 24 hour notice of cancellation or change of appointment. If there is a last minute issue please email the clinic at [email protected] to let us know that you cannot make it.

Is there parking available?
There is free parking available outside RAPID at all times.

Private Health Insurance
The majority of health insurance policies offer money back on physiotherapy sessions, however this depends on insurance company and policy. We would advise all patients to review their insurance policy prior to attending appointments.
There is tax relief for all physiotherapy appointments, this is now completed when filling out your tax return form. Please visit revenue.ie for further information.
Health insurance providers will ask for receipts for attendance at physiotherapy sessions. After each appointment, a pdf copy of a receipt will be emailed to you.
Finance & Payments
What payment type is accepted?
We encourage contactless payment when possible. This can be done online while booking your initial appointment or after your sessions using our Stripe payment system.
We do not accept cheques.
Can I pay in advance?
You can pay online during the booking process through our online payment service provider or pay on the day of your appointment.
To book online, card payment is the only acceptable method and we accept all major card payments.
Currently in COVID-19, we encourage people to pay online prior to attending the session, to minimize touching surfaces within the clinic.
Will I be charged a cancellation fee?
We operate a strict 24 notice policy when cancelling or rebooking an appointment. You will be charged the full appointment amount if your changes fall within this period.
Cancellation Policy
Booking confirmation emails and reminder emails are sent as a courtesy to all our patients. To cancel or reschedule an appointment without incurring a charge, we require at least 48 hours’ notice. Anything within this 48 hour window is liable to a cancellation fee totalling the appointment fee. If you fail to attend an appointment or cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, your payment can not be refunded.
